Climate Change and its Effects of Kidney Disease.  Our group has also been studied how increasing heat from climate  change can lead to acute and chronic kidney disease. This has primarily been a problem for people working outside in very hot conditions in which they often do not hydrate appropriately, and has been seen among agricultural workers and construction workers. A major group that have been affected were Nepalese migrant workers who worked in Qatar in preparation of the World Cup. Here is a short article in the Washington Post in which I was interviewed.
